Thor Love & Thunder Trailer Finally Releases!

Taken everyone by surprise this morning, Marvel Entertainment dropped the Thor: Love and Thunder teaser trailer. Fans of the MCU have been anticipating this movie for years now and speculating when the trailer would drop as this has been the longest the MCU has gone without a trailer for one of their largest films. Well today we finally got it and it looks amazing! Our first look of Thor is in a trucker outfit as he works out with the chains attached to the corpse of a giant monster. As seen at the end of Avengers: End Game Thor Odinson is still with the Guardians of the Galaxy. As he engages in battle with the team Thor narrates about how he feels lost and doesn't want to be a superhero anymore.

We get a montage of various locations such as few planets, Mount Olympus and Zeus's arm holding a lightning bolt, and Valkyrie as the ruler of New Asgard on Earth. The imagery and colors are as vibrant as they were in Thor: Ragnarok. This teaser trailer ends off with a little joke between Thor and Star Lord like we see these trailers usually end with, with a stinger of Jane Foster's God of Thunder at the end wielding a refurbished Mjlonir.

With Taiki Waititi at the director's seat once again and this new trailer, I'm more than pumped for this movie. When this film was announced it was inferred that Jane Foster will be the main character of this film as she will be taking up the mantle of God of Thunder, but until the last frame of the trailer it seemed like Thor is the main character of the movie. I haven't read up on anything about this film as I now like to go into films knowing as little as possible. Hell, I almost didn't want to click on this trailer, but I did since I saw it had just been uploaded fifty minutes ago.

Marvel also revealed a new poster for Love and Thunder which you can view below along with the trailer. Thor: Love and Thunder releases in theaters July 8, 2022.
