Geek Vacation Haul

So for those who only follow this blog I make geek fashion videos on my YouTube channel which you can check out here. I'll have a link to my newest video at the bottom of this one. Geek clothing is an overlooked segment of the fashion market and I will like to show you all some of the pieces I've gathered for a hot nerd summer this year. Well then, let's get into it.

First, I have this lovely graphic tank top from The Yetee. The graphic here is an anime stylized version of the hit city pop single "Plastic Love" by Mariya Takeuchi. If you listen to city pop you definitely know this song as it's the most popular one on YouTube. The fabric is of decent quality and feels nice against the skin. Now I lost this tank when I was out one day so I don't have many pictures with me in it which upsets me because I only wore it one time before I ended up losing it. I am so frustrated by that fact. I found another online merchant that sells it, but I feel like the quality won't be as good. For this piece I paired it with a pair of denim shorts, some black flip flops, a wide brim hat, and sunglasses for that authentic beach look.

The day I wore this I was met with many compliments. The color is just right and the composition and material. I'm so mad that I lost it.

I got another piece from The Yetee and it's this sweet Neon Chun-Li shirt. I love the neon colors on this. I thought because of the colors that it was a glow in the dark shirt, but unfortunately it's not. The design of the shirt itself is still great. I love punk techno design of Chun-li on here. I think the face mask and headphones she's wearing really sells it.

Moving on from that I have this PlayStation football jersey from InsertCoin. You know that's a staple site for me. I actually got this like a long time ago and I actually didn't purchase this from InsertCoin I got it thrifted from Depop. I've been eyeing this jersey for a while, but was a little disappointed when I got it. I was expecting the gray parts to be white. I think that would've looked better. The gray looks a little dull, but it's not too bad. I don't wear this often and actually I don't think I'd wear it on a vacation unless it's to sleep in.

This next fit might be a favorite. I got a full Pac-Man set here. I bought this inexpensive tie-dye Pac-Man t-shirt from Rue 21 and I coupled it with this denim Pac-Man jacket from InsertCoin, a bucket hat, denim shorts, and some white sneakers. While I wish I had a bucket hat that was the exact same shade as the jacket or jeans I don't think it looks bad. I might be the only one sweating it. I did get compliments when I wore this before. Also I accessorized with a pair of sunglasses as well. I really wanted some Pac-Man sneaks I saw on the internet when I got this, but a negro is broke so I couldn't get it. This is still cute though.

So I got these sweet hentai shorts from Amazon a little bit ago. I usually wouldn't wear something like this, but I think this design is hilarious for swim trunks. If you ever go to anime cons you've probably seen people wear this design before. Amazon got this in t-shirts, hoodies, pants, and regular shorts. I planning on going to a pool or the beach I would rock these right here.

I can't remember if I showed this one off already on a previous video, but here it is. I have the Take Your Heart zip-up hoodie from InsertCoin in a size medium. Although this is summer you may still want to take a jacket with you in places where they got the AC too low and this jacket is small enough to fit in a tote bag and isn't too warm, plus it could make as a pseudo-blanket on an airplane. I particularly like the text on the sleeve and the subtle logo on the chest.

So for a first for y'all I have an accessory. I have this Resident Evil 2 hip pouch that I purchased from InsertCoin. This hip pouch is an accurate model of the extra inventory packs you find within the Resident Evil 2 remake. It's about the size of your hand and can fit some cash, cards, or other little small items. My phone is too large for this, but it fits about any small item you could fit in your hand. The pouch is made out of a hefty material and it fits securely. You have about three ways of fitting this on. You can you snaps, an over the shoulder harness, and it also has loops as well. This will run you

I enjoy this one a lot because I really never buy any accessories like this. It's a nice change of place.

I also got these cute little Persona 5 flip flops also from InsertCoin. I got these on sale too. It only cost me $5 before shipping. They did wear out quickly though. I only wore them for a day, but I did walk a lot that day, but still I felt like I still shouldn't have gotten as much wear as I did. It's not that bad however.

Well, that wraps up my hot geek summer vacation haul. Let me know in the comments what your favorite piece is and if you have any vacation plans this summer.
