My Thoughts on E3 2021

I guess I should talk about E3 this year, but I honestly don't have much to say. It's back this year in a digital event after being canceled last year due to the pandemic. My hype level for it this year is an absolute zero. After almost attending the event last year to it being a digital only event this year kills it for me. It has always been digital to me in the past since I always watched from home from my computer through Twitch or YouTube. Nothing's changed for me and it might be even worse this year there will be no stage presentations, it's likely going to be all videos of live streams with hosts and guests talking to each other via Zoom or whatever.

Most of the stage presentations in the past weren't hitting anyway, but that's still better than what we're getting this year. I won't be watching the event live as I have to work, but even if I wasn't I'm not sure I would. I would likely just try and catch the footage whenever I felt like it which is what I'm going to do. I'll just check out some footage of the most interesting announcements and that's it.
